Chevrolet: engine light always on, and signals do not work, kind response, e check

I know that your expertise is up to 1975.  However, I though of asking anyway.  I have a 2000 Impala that runs good, but engine light does not turn off and I need to repair that for the e-check, and the turning signals do not work.  HElP!!!Thank you for your kind response. Jose

  Hi, as far as the engine light , a computor will have to be put on it to see what is causing the light to come on.
Than it will give a code that tells what is wrong and that will have to be fixed. as far as the signals, check  the fuses and the bulbs, and also the flasher unit. one of those must be burnt out .
