Chevrolet: 99 Chevy Malibu Gas Tank, chevy malibu, poor flow

Question
When filling up, the gas pump keeps kicking off like its full and just have to trickle a little bit in at a time.  Takes forever to put in $10.  Any ideas?

       Well it sounds as if the gas tank fill tube might have a poor flow vent so the only thing is to hold the handle out just a bit when you put the gas in or the only other way would be to get a new gas tank and that would be around 700.00 or so. I would look into the tank fill and see if the fill vent is working right .
