Chevrolet: 1998 chevy cav starting problem, fuel pressure regulator, chevy cav

Question
I am having trouble figuring out what the problem might be on my 1998 Chevy Cav 4cylinder 2.2 One day the car had a hard time starting so i checked the spark plug and they seemed fowled;therefore, I changed the plugs and the car started and ran fine. Later that day my brother called and said the car stalled and he couldnt get the car to start back up. We checked the simple things that it could be and he played with the gas pedal from the engine and it started. The car seemed a little weird, but i got it home. Once i turned it off it would not start about all it does is start up but does not turn over. People have told me it could be the fuel pressure regulator and so on. Thank u for ur time and any suggestions would be great!!!!

Answer
Hi Dewayne
Did you gap the plugs when you put them in ?
I do not think that the plugs are what is wrong but I wonder if they were gaped. I wonder if you could have a bad mep sensor , or fuel filter , when a map sensor goes or start to go it will cause what you have now. With out a computor hooked up to read the engines out put it is hard to find what is wrong but I would bet it is the map sensor.
good luck
