Chevrolet: valve train, cd ignition, valve train

Question
Hi Rodger, I would like to know if changing the stock rocker arms 1.5 ratio to 1.6 would be a benefit to street performance on this 1968 chevy 327cu.in.-.030 over-flat top pistons-GM 292heads with 202/160 valves-Edelbrock Performer "EPS" manifold-Holley 670 carb.-Mallory CD ignition box-coil+Dist.-Clevite Cam #229-1730-Adv.Duration Int.270-Exh.280-Gross Lift Int.420-Exh. 443.  PS. Are there any changes yuo would make to this combo.  Thank You rick

Answer
HI Rick; Yes if you change the rockers it will not hurt and they should be a bit better, I would look into a larger carb on what you have and a elec. fuel pump. and you did not say if you have headers on it, if not put them on and you will see a big differnce.and a rear end would not hurt.
good luck
