Chevrolet: 1995 Camaro AC problem, coolant level, leak air

Question
The AC does not cool.  I have checked the coolant level and it is ok.  When I turn the AC on it will start to blow cold air for 1-2 minutes (not very cold) and then just blow warm air.  I am not sure if this helps but in the winter, if it is cold out the car never really gets hot inside with the heater running.  After many miles it gets warm but not hot enough where I would turn down the temperature.

A couple of years ago when the ac worked better, I never seemed to be real cold either.

The air flow in either AC or heat is good, but the air temperatures from the discharge do not seem to be correct when I compare it to our Blazer

Thanks for your help

Answer
Hi Dennis, The coolant has nothing to do with the a\c. The a\c system needs to be recharged, it must have a small leak. Air condition is not a do it yourself problem, you have to take to an a\c shop to have it recharged. As for the heater, its most likely to be the thermostat in the engine wich doesnt cost that much to fix. I hope this helped you, if you need more info just let me know. Regards, Keith.
