Chevrolet: transmission leak, check ups, transmission leak

Hello, I have a 1974 corvette with the 350/195hp. I have been told that the transmission pump seal has gone out.  Is this alot work and/or expense to have done at a shop?

I dont think it should cost that much a few hund. any way but go to a tranny shop that has a special on tranny check ups at only 29.95 or less and let them see and tell you what is wrong and how much it will cost , that is the way I recomend anyway.for 29.95 or less you will know and never get it done at a car shop go to a tranny shop only ok
