Hi Thomas,
If you look at my first letter to you, 2nd line...I said "OUTSIDE power windows" I supposed I should have said "power SIDE mirrors"...sorry..dumb mistake.
So it is the POWER SIDE MIRRORS I am having trouble with. They will move down and to the right but not up or to the left. THey were working fine before. The button that controls the mirrors has a paddle switch in the middle marked "R" and "L" and has four flat press buttons around it to move the MIRRORS in the four directions.

Sorry for the confusion...I can't believe I called the Mirrors "windows"

Hi Thomas,
I have a 1990 LeBaron convertable 3.0L 4sp auto.
I was replacing the drivers side power window and after I had put everything back together I noticed the outside powerwindows would only work in the "right" and "down" plane, which was odd as they worked perfectly in all planes before.
I rechecked connections and condinuity to the wires,,,all appeared okay. What am I missing? is there a fuse or relay somewhere? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Rick Coneybeer

I am CONFUSED with your statement: "I noticed the outside powerwindows would only work in the "right" and "down" plane.

Hi Thomas,
What I meant by "right" and 'down" plane is both outside power windows will only tilt down (point towards the ground) and tilt right. when I press the button to go up or to the left..they will not work.
I hope this helps
Rick

I am STILL COFUSED. How do you get POWER WINDOWS to move in ANY direction but UP and DOWN ?.

Answer
For awhile there I thought I lost touch with reality and needed to take a NAP. or catch up on the latest WINDOW designs.

OK, I can send you an electrical schematic showing you the electrical circuitry and diagnostic testing procedure to TEST your WINDOWS, OOPPPSSS, I meant MIRRORS. Sorry, I just had to put that in there.

Anyway, You will have to contact me at:
