Dodge: water in the oil, head gaskets, head gasket

Question
Hello,
I have a 96 ram with the 3.9v6 145,000 miles. I have been getting water in my oil. I replaced the intake gaskets and timing cover gasket. I am still getting water in my oil. I have no oil pressure until about 1600+rpm. There is no blow by from the heads into the radiator so I thought the heads were not a problem. There was never a overheat. It was cold out, I drove 2 miles to wendys and when sitting at drive through I noticed the heat get cold so the next day I checked the anti freeze and it was low, it started getting into the oil. Should I do the head gaskets next or buy a reman engine? I don't know much about these blocks if anything internally lets go.

Answer
If you've changed the intake and timing cover gaskets, you probably do have an issue with the heads. It's pulling water in from somewhere.Or the head gasket if it hasn't been run hot.The only other place would be the timing cover gasket so you need to have the heads checked. If it's just water probably nothing internally is bad wrong except the water issue,it's not good for antifreeze to get in the oil because small traces will eat the mains up.I'd have them checked and compare the labor to the price of a remanufactured engine, and in doing this take in to concideration the amount of miles.I mean with 145,000 miles you can start expecting anything to happen.
