Dodge: 93 dodge ram 1500 pickup, dodge ram 1500, excessive moisture

Question
My dad has one of these that he uses for our business.  in the past year it has been to the shop many times for what seems to be the same problem.  We will go to start it and it will just crank and crank without turning over.  And other times it will start just fine.  A Few times while driving it has just died and then proceeds to do the above.  3 different shops have changed things like battery, coil, and 2 computers, but none of these things have done anything to it.  It always seems to leave us stuck somewhere.  What could be wrong?

Answer
Tom,
Does the check engine light come? Here are the main things to check for!
1.fuel filter plugged or fuel line restricted.
2.Faulty fuel pump
3.Excessive moisture on or damage to ignition components
4.Worn, faulty or incorrectly gapped spark plugs.
5.Broken loose or disconnected wires at the starting circuit.
6.Broken loose or disconnected wires at the ignition coil.
7.Also cold be water in the gas.
I appologize for being so long and drawn out but these are the best possible reasons for the truck not wanting to start,or starting and turning off.
                         Thanks RamMan
