Dodge: Intrepid 2000, fuel indicator, front doors

Question
Hi-

I have a 2000 Intrepid.  The door gasket on the two front doors constantly slips away from the frame, especially in the top corner where the door shuts - there is actually a gap of a couple inches.  When I try to push or pull the gasket tight, it comes loose everywhere else.

Is this a common problem?  Have any ideas on how to fix it?

Also, since I'm asking, have you heard of other people complaining about the lights and electronics on the '00 Intrepid?  I think my lights are possessed - the interior lights flash bright and dim, the fuel indicator sporadically drops to empty (even when it is full), the lights won't go off, or will stay on bright, etc, etc.
any ideas?

thanks!

carl

Answer
As for number one question
1. You can a special glue for this that will keep the gasket in place. Autozone, napa or carquest sells this.
2. No, I havent heard of this problem on the Intrepid. If its still under warranty, have it looked at by Dodge. These days, it could be a electrical problem, a relay, or sensor.
Or maybe it could be caused by a poltergeist??
