Ford: Gasoline Siphon

Question
Happy New Year. Hello, I was siphoning bad gasoline from the tank to a container with a siphon kit that I bought where one end has what I call a rattle made of metal (phyisics energy); anyway while removing the hose, the rattle metal fell off and stayed in the gas tank. No way to get it out. Just want to know if it's going to be dangerous to leave it there. Thank you very much for your time.

Answer
Hello Magali. No it won't do any damage by leaving it there. because of the way the new fuel pumps are set up, there is a large enough style screen to pull fuel from the needed area and not enough suction to lift even as much as a quarter. Good Luck in your ventures and thank you for writing..   Brian
