Ford: Ford Ranger gauge indicators problem, oil pressure gauge, low oil pressure

Question
The fuel gauge indicator on my 1999 Ford Ranger sticks on full and then also sometimes 1/4 full when it isn't.  Would this be a computer chip problem?  Also the check fuel gauge light sticks on and the high low oil pressure gauge sticks on below the low for a few minutes when starting the engine especially when cooler outside.  Is that a computer chip problem?  Lastly 3/4 of the dash lights do not come on to illuminate the dash but sometimes a few of them will come on when driving for a while but not all.  Is this a bulb problem do you think or something else?  Would you guess these repairs to be expensive or not so bad?  I would appreciate any info you can give me.

Answer
hello,

Fuel guage:  this is not controlled by the computor. Most likely , the sender in the tank is failing, but it may also be a guage or wiring problem.  The test should be inexpensive (1/2 hour)

Oil guage:  I suspect the sender, but again, it could be wiring or guage. (1/2 hour to test)

The bulb in the dash is most likely failing, they are fairly simple to replace.
