The Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitters need to be programmed into the GEM. To do this, all remote transmitters must be done at the same time. Turn the key from OFF to RUN 8 times within 10 seconds (as fast as possible) stopping with the key in RUN. On the 8th time, the doors should lock and unlock, indicating that programming mode has been entered. Then immediately press any button on the first remote, door locks should cycle indicating that the transmitter has been accepted. Continue with any button on each remote until all are programmed, then shut the key off and the locks should cycle one last time, indicating exit from programming mode. Make sure not to pause too long anywhere in this process, since the system may exit programming mode automatically if nothing happens for 7.5 seconds.
