Ford: No Fire 86 F150 Fuel Injected 5.0?, failure rate, computor

Question
My sister's truck engine stopped running on her while at a stop sign, idling. I've been working on it for 3 days now. New plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and coil. Still no fire from plugs when turning engine over. I've got a Hayne's Manual, but I'm stuck. What else could be the problem? Thanks for your time.

Answer
Hi,

i would check for power to the coil with key on,
Basically, turning the ignition key to on energizes the EEC relay, which, in turn , powers the coil, fuel injectors, computor and more.
If power is available at coil, look towards the ignition module (either mounted on the side of the distributor, or on a fender). It has a high failure rate.
