Questionthere is a black line that is on top of the gas tank when it is wet or moisture gets on it the truck wont satrt other wise it runs like a charm! since it is snowing it will not start and the black line wont fit into the boot what is wrong can you please help me?
AnswerThere should be a few plastic lines on the top of the fuel tank.
The large fill tube, a fill vent hose (about 1/2 or 3/4 inch diameter).
Then there is the fuel delivery line to the filter, A return line, a vapur line to the charcoal canister, and maybe a rollover line or two.
Does the cel light come on?
What is the fuel pressure with key on?
What codes, if any are stored in the ECM?
Do you have good spark while cranking?
Does fuel come out this line when you are cranking?
