Ford: no charging, ford econoline 350, ford econoline

Question
hello there i have a 1990 ford econoline 350 motorhome with a 460 in it.. i have a new altenator and new battery in it i thought the altenater might be bad so i pulled it out and checked it at an auto shop all worked ok... the problem is that it will not charge the battery.. i had a volt meter on the battery before i started it and it read 12.63v same reading as when i started it the question is is there another voltage box or a fusable link that might be shot? if so would you know the where abouts of them? ty

Answer
there is fusible links, however i believe it is more along the lines of a blown charging circuit fuse, check the under hood fuse box and the inside cab box. if not, dig your multimeter out, set to continuity and start chasing wires, you may have a bad connection to your alternator or battery, check the back terminal on the alternator and see if it is putting out any voltage, 12.5-13.00 volts is normal at idle.
