Can a Stature Pick-up assembly on a 1990 F150 distributer cause the coil not to spark?

yes also the module will cause the same problem.what i would do is just get a dist from Napa just because it is cheaper the replace the dist. then replacing the stata and module.and you don't have to have a press to remove the pick up.this way it is just a drop in
