Ford: Ford F350 Clutch master cylinder, clutch master cylinder, ford f350

Question
How do I bleed a clutch master cylinder after installation on a 2000 F350?

Answer
hey there Roy. Sorry in the delay to my reply. but your best bet is to manually bleed the master in a vice before installing into the truck. to do this fill the master with approved dot 3 or greater brake fluid and using a blunt screwdriver manually work the master back and forth. but at the end of the master where the line goes use a hose and route it into the top of the master into the fluid. work it till there is no more air bubbles then install in the truck and it can take a long time but work the pedal slowly back and forth till the clutch feels normal again. As for future reference i recommend replacing the slave master and line as a assembly much easier and cleaner and you know it is all new and will last alot longer.

Thanks for the question i hope that helps
