Ford: power window quit, plastic bushings, mustang cobra

Question
HI
My wife has a '95 mustang cobra convertible. The driver window began operating slowly a while back. Then it quit altogether - no noise or anything. I put a new motor on it. Nothing. I took the motor out and testing it to the battery - works. (The plastic bushings were decinerated in the old motor. I put the new motor back in. I changed the switch with another car that works. Still it does not work. The fuses look ok. The other windows work ok. Is there a circuit breaker, or in-line fuse someplace???
Help!

Answer
hey jack sorry for the late response. Make sure you have proper power and ground to the switch as well as the motor when operating the switch. I am going to assume that you do not because the motor works fine when jumpered so then i would suggest checking the wires in the door boots that run from the car to the door and see if you have damaged wires there. as for fusible links there is none but there is a circuit breaker in the fuse box i belive but if the passenger side is operational then we know that is good.

If you need anything else give me a holler

Regards

Jim
