i have a 1988 ford mustang

i need lifter adjustment for 5.0

    Hi there well depends on the type of rocker arms you have on your 5 liter weather or not the adjustment. My assumption is that you have adjustable rockers and not roller type. If they are adjustable ones you need to get the cylinder you are adjusting to top dead center you will recognize this due to the placement of the valves the rockers will both be at there lowest point. Then you tighten the nut while rolling it in your fingers and when you feel slight drag then you turn it one turn more.

Hope this helps it is a bit of finesse to feel it but you will by the end get the hang of it
