Ford: egr ports, egr position sensor, dpfe sensor

Question
I have a 1998 f-150 thecheck engine light came on a while ago and the truck misses upon acceleration. Ive replaced plugs, wires, egr valve, egr position sensor.  I put it on a computer and it said insufficient egr flow. I can only assume its the egr ports because ive cleaned the throttle body already and the injectors.Theese were all recomendations from the dealer but they could not pin point the problem. If the egr ports are my next step where are they located.

Answer
Well i hope i can be of assistance. Now by the EGR position sensor I think I am going to have to say you mean the DPFE sensor Dual Pressure Feedback EGR sensor?? if that is the case was it a new one?? How are the hoses going to that sensor? the EGR valve itself really has no wires going to it nor does it know or care what is flowing through the valve. If the valve is giving you grief try driving it with the valve vacuum line off and plugged and see if it runs any different. more times I personally see the position sensor or the hoses be the culprit over a EGR restriction. But if you really want to check the ports then remove the EGR valve and the ports are right there. Hope i was able to help..
