My 1994 Ford Escort station wagon keeps stalling when the engine idles, fuel pump filter problem? My husband said most likely the fuel pump filter needs replacement, but he needs a manual or help on finding the fuel filter, and on the car itself in general. Where can we get a manual for the car, and do you have some advice for him on changing the fuel filter? He said he found it up against the firewall, but that something is in his way from unlatching the fuel filter. Help? Thank you very much! -- Teresa

Teresa, you pick up a manual for the car at your local parts store, or you can order one online from http://www.chiltonsonline.com/        My advice for him would be to stop by a parts store and pick up a fuel line/fuel filter replacement tool.  If he tries to remove the filter without this tool, he will more than likely break the fuel line fittings.  The tool only cost about 5 dollars.  Let me know if you have anymore questions,   Jason
