Ford: Tarus shut down, 1995 ford tarus, temp guage

Question
1995 Ford Tarus during hot days will shut or stall itself down.  There is no battery problem, oil is fine, coolent is full, have tried pouring water on a sensor passenger side below grating next to window sheild( can't remember what you call this sensor but took it off couple years ago an tested fine at autozone).  This has been going on for few years.  Car just dies, let it sit for awhile and cool down and it starts right up.  The temp guage does not show overheating.

i would check my air filter, as this can cause the problem your having. the other problem, it can be is your fuel pump or fuel injecters.either the fuel pump can not push enough fuel when hot causing vapor lock or the injecters are vapor locking.have autozone or advance auto put a scan tool on the car to tell you for sure.make sure they use a scan tool NOT a code reader as the codse reader will not help you. hope this helps.
