Ford: 2002 Ford Windstar - brakes, ford windstar, 2002 ford windstar

Question
Ken,

I just had new brake pads and a passenger side rotor replaced on my wife's windstar (35,000 miles).  I drive it out of the garage with no issue but notice a pulsating, car vibrating, shimmy after I get down the road and apply the brakes.  What could cause that?  Can the old and new rotor be out of balance?

Answer
Jim,

It sounds like it could be a bad caliper, or a bad rotor. Also it could be bad brake pads or the brakes were not bleed right,or a bad wheel bearing. I hope this helps, if you need more help feel free to write back.
