Ford: 1979 Ford F150 headers, ford f150 4x4, performance parts catalog

I own a 1979 Ford F150 4x4 with a 351M engine, 4" lift and dual tanks.  I am looking for a set of headers as well as a dual exhaust kit for the vehicle and cannot seem to find anyone that makes a header for the 351M. The previous set of headers was manufactured by Hooker Headers but the header tube hits the front driveshaft knuckle and had to be bent. Although the manufacturer states that it should fit, I had exhanged the headers twice to see if a different set would work, which they did not. I want to install the system correctly this time around and was looking for a coated set of headers that would last both inside and out. Any thoughts? Why is the 351M so hard to find parts for? I do not want to have headers fabricated for this.

i would try (paw) performance parts catalog.they have the most headers of anybody in the country.the reason for so little parts for the 351m is there are not many left running most people go for the clevland or windsor.the web site is www.pawengineparts.com.hope this helps.
