Ford: stahling, oxygen sensor, pedel

Question
I have a 1993 ford 150 with a 5.0 engine. With hardly any notice of anything going wrong, it started stahling. When I slow down to come to a stop, it felt like it kicks down hard then stahls. Can you tell me what may cause this? Someone told me it is the oxygen
sensor, but I don't think so only because what I'v read on this subject, they don't stahl out when the oxygen sensor goes bad, they just run real rough.

Answer
Missi what i want you to do is to  remove the snorkel and look inside the throttle body to see if it is dirty and full of oil .if so use some throttle body cleaner and an old tooth brush and clean it out with out the car running have someone hold the gas  pedel to the floor and spray and clean inside and the butterfly then start it up it will be hard at first then give it some gas and spray the rest of the can in.the ck eng lisht may come on just disc the battery for 10 min . and you are ready to go.
