Ford: Ford F-150 gastank, ford f 150, back tank

Hi Ragu,

I just bought a 1995 F-150 with the duel tanks. The front tank works fine, but when I switch to the back tank, it wants to stop running. If I'm at an idle it seems to be working fine. Its only when I'm driving.

Dug you have to replace the in tank fuel pump,your truck has 3 fuel pumps 1 in each tank witch is just for a prime then there is one on the frame witch is your primary one.the one in the tank is just a pick up pump.that means it job is gust to get the fuel to the top and then the frame one takes over.
