Ford Mustang: 1998 gt mustang, cold air intake, mustang gt

Question
i have a 1998 mustang gt. it has 117,000 miles. i am wanting to add performance parts to it such as cold air intake, mufflers, tuner chip, etc. do u think 117,000 miles is to maany to do that to my car. or should i invest in a newer mustang with less miles? your opinion will help a great deal thax.

Answer
If you`re happy using the GT, then go for it. You make your car the way you want it. I believe all Mustangs, no matter what, should be restored and kept around for many generations of Mustangers. I know, I`m a big dreamer, lol. Remember not to throw away anything that may be beneficial to preserving it`s history and don`t make any changes you can`t change back to original if you want. Make it fun to drive for now, but preserve the legend and it`s history. You`re starting with a GT Mustang thats already ten years old. In ten more years it will be considered "vintage" and I think that makes it better to have fun with and to invest in.  Rhonda
