i have a 2005 chevy silverado 1500 5.3 liter with a reduced engine power warning and engine fan not working

well when i had the issue of loss of power it ended up being my knock sensors. i have a05 gmc 5.3 and there is a technical bulletin regarding the knock sensors for those trucks. its a costly repair but if you don't get it repaired your engine goes into a neutral state and its a safety thing for the engine once the knock sensors go bad it cant sense if there's an issue so it takes away power so that you cant over do it.

as far as the fan not working i can only say check all the fuses and relays in the truck.
