GM-GMC: Gas milage?, fuel consumption guide, pontiac montana

Hi Alicia,
I'm the owner of a 2006 Pontiac Montana.The engine is a 3500 SFI V6.The fuel consumption guide that came with it said I should get 22mi/gal city and 32mi/gal highway but with average driving I can't get much more than 19mi/gal.I've had it to a mechanic,he checked  it over and coulden't find anything that he felt was a problem.Is that kind of gas milage par for the course for that particular type of engine or do you think it should be doing better?

ill be upfront with you about two things .. the epa on those stickers is really and estimate done by ppl in a room and the car running on a smooth surface and 19 is good considering its a v6. you can possibly boost it a bit but adding some seafoam to your gas once in a while i have been using that since i started driving. get it at walmart for 8 bucks and read the can.
