GM-GMC: 1993 GMC Stepside Pkup 6 cyl., gmc stepside, far hope

Question
Pickup was running fine, shut it off one day, next day pickup will turn over and start but will not continue running changed gas filter, checked injectors same problem.

Answer
There are a few quick checks you can do to see what the problem is.  First, remove the air filter etc and use a flash light to look down the throttle body while you have someone crank the engine over (keep clear of the pulley's etc)  You should see fuel spraying out of the injectors.  If you do, move on and check to see if you have spark.  If you don't you will need to check your fuel pressure and fuel pump and continue on from there.  Repost if you need more help after you get that far.
