GM-GMC: 91 blazer 4.3 no spark no fuel at injectors, fuel pump relay, continuity test

Question
QUESTION: no spark at coil and no gas from injectors. fuel filter changed gas to carb. verified. volt meter checks verify current at about 10 volts to coil and at coil wire terminal to distributor Chilton volt meter test for coil passed,10 volts to the new ignition control module and new battery is installed. Even though there is voltage at the discharge of the coil no arc to a screwdriver was observed. voltage to the fuel pump relay and to the connectors at the injectors verified. so far all the connectors I have been able to check have current. still will not start on cranking and no fuel odor detected at injectors. no electronic trouble codes because battery was replaced. 1. Can't find wire with a fusible link. help on looking for wire please. Most of the harness covering is intact and there is no room to between engine and fire wall there is a mystery flat electronic device on the fire wall with orange white grab blue wires. 2. help on what to try next. Now that I am retired I no longer have the resources to sent it to the shop so any help to noodle out this problem would be greatly apreciated. Ken

ANSWER: The first thing that caught my attention was there is only 10volts.  Check what the voltage is right at the battery terminals, it should be around 12.3-12.6 volts.  Any where else in the car should be within .3 or .5 of that, at a minimum.  Some things will simply not turn on without the appropriate voltage.  Check to see if you have a poor connection or bad ground of something like that, I would like to see at least 12 volts to the components you are saying are not working before condemning them.
Hope this helps.

QUESTION: Thanks for responding.I have a new battery and did a continuity test in the negative cable and checked the grounds on reinstall, and my under dash fuses work. I was told that I may have a failed fusible link but if that were the case I would expect the ignition circuit and other components not to have current. The coil passed the electrical bench test with a multimeter. Is there a chance that it could be the culprit? Where do I look next? Thanks again for any insite. Ken

Answer
Let me start by asking if the check engine light comes on when you turn the key to the ON position.  If yes, do you have 12 volts at the ignition coil?  If yes, do you have fuel spraying when the key is turned to the start position?  If yes, try installing a known good coil and see if you get spark.  Check spark from the coil wire not a spark plug wire, see if that gets you anywhere.
Hope this helps
