GM-GMC: 98 S-10 Blower Failing, blower motor, resistor

98 S-10 PU Blower Motor not working. Symptoms: about a year ago my #4 speed on the blower motor stopped working. I didn't think much of it, then a few months later none of the speeds worked. I replaced the resitor assembly and speeds 1-3 worked again, but still not 4. Now about 6 months later the whole thing stopped working again. Suggestions?

It could be the resistor has malfunctioned again.  They are notorious for corroding and failing.  Another thing to check is your fuses.  There should be a couple different ones.  There should be one for the high speed and a seperate one for the other speeds (sometimes called lo speed and hi speed) check you fuse panels and see if you can locate them.
