GM-GMC: 1990 sierra overheating, rad cap, heater core

Question
I'm stumped. Newish radiator, replaced the pump, thermostat (twice), new rad cap. No visible leaks. I ran it for awhile without a thermostat and it stayed cool, so I didn't think flushing it was necessary. Any ideas?

Answer
Sounds like you might have a restriction ? Hose,Heater Core?

You run it without a thermostat and it is fine .
What temp thermostat did you use?

Leave the cap off the radiator and make sure that you see the fluid
flowing in the radiator

Squeese the hoses and see if they are plyable , and then also feel the temp of hoses , be careful , see if they are hot, warm , cold

Let em know ,try these things and email back
