GM-GMC: 1995 chevy 2500, chevy truck, fan switch

Question
hi i have a 95 chevy truck with a 350 in it i had smoke come out the heater vents and water on the floor so i thought it was the heater core after changing that the fan didnt work so i changed the fan still nothing so i change the risistor under the dash and still nothing the heater only ever worked on high so i thought it might be the switch so i changed that with a salvage on but i hear it open and close under the dash when i turn it on so it should work and the fuse for the heater is good im not sure if there is anything else i can do.any help would be great. thanks

Answer
Ok Brent ,

Try to take out the blower motor and hot wire it direct to the battery . Stick a wire to neg for ground and pos.. If the fan runs re-install it . The issue with the fan on high only was your resistor block . That was your problem , not the fan switch . Then the smoke ??? Condensation from the heater core . had a leak and caused a fog to evaporate the water .

If this does not work email back
