GM-GMC: need help, turbo diesel, good luck

I'm a marine in Iraq and i have a year to make a decision. I cracked my 1994 6.5 turbo diesel, I'm going to build a engine my self by buying the block and all the parts and assemble it. where do i get the instruction manual or any other info i need to start studying in the next year while I'm in Iraq so when i get back i can build my own engine. all input would be appreciated

I really don't have any good answers for you on this one just search around online and if you have access any library or what not I got all my expertise from experience.
