GM-GMC: The Bench Test, bench test, u s postal service

Hello, I am interested in becoming an automotive technician with the U.S. Postal Service. I have no experience besides working on my honda. How or What should I study to help me pass a standard mechanical test and the bench test? If your not sure, then could you please direct me to anyone who could help me?  I have already checked with the libraries for the exam I will be taking and came out empty handed. Thank you very much for your time.
