GM-GMC: Chevy S10 wont start, chevy s10, key switch

Question
I have a 85 Chevy S10, 2.5 4cyl fuel injected.  The problem is that it wont start.  The truck will turn over but has no fire.  I have changed the coil, no help.  I have taken the steering column out to check the switches related to the key switch.  They also show good.  It seems that something is not allowing the system send spark to the electronic coil for the distributor.  Is there a sensor that could cause it not to fire?  There is a good spray from the carb as well.  Please help!

Answer
There is an ignition module, in the base of the distributor, that looks like the one is this URL: http://www.rockauto.com/ref/ACDelco/Detail.html?D1964A.jpg

If your coil went bad, chances are this module went bad first and destroyed the coil.

Either that or you are not getting power to the distributor on the large pink (or red) wire that connects to the distributor cap.
