GM-GMC: water sloshing around, clogged drain, sound of water

Question
Hi Harry: I have a 1995 s-10 blazer and they is a sloshing sound of water from under the dash or floor. Here is what I have done thus far. I jacked up the truck and looked to see a hole, drain etc. but found none. I took off the passenger wheel and fender skin and saw nothing. I took off the cowling under the dask and drilled holes into everything that I could see but nothing. I drill holes in the bottom of the unit that is under the hood directly behind the dryer canister. No luck. No water is coming inside the vehicle and none is leaking on the ground. I live in Florida so I use it daily. I am rather mechanical and I am frustrated that I can't find where the water is. I have searched the web and found no help at all. I did everything except take the engine out of the truck. I can't find a manual locally that will help me solve this mystery. Hopefully you can point me in the right direction. Thanks.
Dave

Answer
It appears that you have air conditioning, either OEM or aftermarket.

Check the A/C for a clogged drain.  It is not necessarily clogged at the hose, but that is the best place to start.  Some systems will plug their drain areas with lint, dirt, etc.

The hose usually runs from under the dash through a hole in the firewall or floor and drains anywhere from the middile of the vehicle (over the transmission) to the passenger floorboard.
