GM-GMC: electrical, gmc 1500, electronics tech

i have a 94 gmc 1500 truck and just recently when i turn the truck off all lights in the dash go off except the lights on the heater control switch.if i push a couple of the buttons it will go off.just recently i notice after i do that and sit there for a minute the light on the heater control will blink on and off real quick and will do that over and over.if i push the break pedal the lights will come on and stay on as long as it is pushed.also you can here something klick every time the lights flash on the heater control. any help would be great thanks stacy

Have you had any type of mechanical work or electrical items ADDED to the vehicle ?.

If NO, This is going to take some extensive testing to locate the source of the problem and will require electrical schematcs and an experienced electronics tech.
