GM-GMC: Pinion gear torque specs, pinion bearings, chevrolet astro

Question
I need to know the torque specs for the pinion gear on a 1999 chevrolet astro.
Had to replace the pinion bearings and can't find my repair manuel.

any help would be great

in response to your pinion bearing torque specs....
you did not mention wether you are using a new crush sleeve, I highly recoment that you do. with a new crush sleeve you must tighten the nut till the bearings seat and then continue tightening till a slight drag/pre-load is felt on the pinion actual spec is 25-30 inch/pounds you should use a torque wrench on the nut and measure the torque the pinion takes to rotate. hope this helps.
