GM-GMC: Accelerating problems, tie rod ends, wheel alignment

Question
When I begin accelerating in my 1983 gmc s-15 truck, it begins to shake. I was in an accident a few months ago that dented the front bumper, but no other problems resulted from it.Why does this happen?

Answer
Hi Kris - Sorry for the delay - I have been having bigtime problems with my satellite connection lately, and was unable to open up the java window to answer your question.

First, I may not be the best guy to ask, so do take your question to the Auto Repair guys here at allexperts.com.  Bying that, have you checked the easy things?  4 Wheel balance?  Wheel Alignment checked?  If you get a vibration at speed, it is usually something that is turning.  A tire, wheel, driveshaft, anything like that.  Also, your tie rod ends can do this too.

Do the easy things first, and you will get it.  But do go to the Auto Repair guys too.

Merry Xmas!
