Honda: Honda Accord cuts off, switch failure, electrical portion

Question
I have a 1994 Honda Accord.  It cuts off when I am driving it.  I wait for about 10 to 15 minutes and it starts again.  Sometimes it goes for a month before it happens again.  Can you please tell me what the problem is?

Answer
If it feels like it cuts off abruptly, as if the key was turned off, you probably have an ignition switch failure. This can be intermittent at the first signs of failure. The electrical portion of the ignition switch's contacts tend to arc and lose connection causing a stall.
