Honda: crv doesnt run once cold, fuel supply, PGM-FI

Question
Im driving honda crv 98 automatic, petrol&lpg with78,000 miles.I start it morning and when its cold without problems, but after few seconds the revs start going down from 1200 to 100 and then it turns off.to start it again I need to wait 3-5 min andthen i start it with no problem but I give gas to keep minimum revs 1200,because if revs gone down less than 1200 then drastically gone down to zero and again I need to wait to start it,once it warmed the car runs perfect. My mechanic has changed all filtres,sparkplugs,cables...etc.The problem actually seemed to have gotten worst. My car giving me lots of headaches so please help me.THANKS for the help

Answer
I'll do my best with some direction here but my answers will be based on the CR-V engine that runs on unleaded gasoline. The first recommendation I have is to have your mechanic inspect the fuel pressure when the car is cold. If the car starts when cold and then stalls, I'd suspect a failing PGM-FI main relay. Something that may also help would be to take a fuel sample. Fuel contamination is sometimes overlooked.
