Honda: Honda civic brake/electrical, cold cranking amps, dash lights

Question
I have a 1991 Honda Civic.152k miles. My boyfriend put in a new battery and the car wasn't driven during the winter. We had to jump the car to start it and now when the brakes are depressed, the interior clock dims, the dash lights come on and the drivers side headlight comes on.
Car has been awesome, has had new Distributor, ignitor coil, starter, master cylinder, and radiator in the last 20k miles.

Any suggestions?

Answer
Sounds like when the new battery was put in, something shorted out, causing wires to cross. The only way to find out which ones is to find a wire schematic for the car or take it to the dealership. Also, this may sound stupid, but double check and, and make sure the battery was put in correctly. Black=negative, Red=positive. Also make sure it is the correct battery for the car. Cold cranking amps, and cranking amps.
