Mercedes: A/C blows cold then hot, mercedes vehicles, ac repair

My 1997 E-320 A/C at start up blows cold for about 10 minutes in normal driving.  Then, it blows hot.  If I turn off the car for a few minutes and restart, the symptoms repeat.

I would find an independent AC repair service that does Mercedes vehicles. Sound like there is either low refrigerant that causes the low pressure switch to disengage the compressor. Or the condenser fan gas stopped working and is allowing the head pressure to climb too high.
