my mercedes 1989 se runs good but when I shut the car off
it will take about 15 min brfore im able to start it again

Will it turn over during this period? Is harder or longer to start cold or hot? During the cranking process does it try to start and quit or is it completely dead until it finally starts.
Will it start instantly after the 15 minute wait.
