Mercedes: Sudden stalling, fuel starvation, air temperatures

Question
My 1984 380 SL Mercedes stalls in the winter.  It starts fine and idles smoothly. After about 5 minutes it will suddenly stall at a stop sign or during a slow turn.  It start back up with no problem.  The car is in Texas and has about 63,000 miles on it.

Answer
Ron,
At what air temperatures does the stalling problem begin. What symptom is displayed when it stalls. Is it a transmission stall, an ignition type stall 'instant as if you turned of the ignition key, or is it as if fuel starvation?
Sorry for the delay in looking into your question.
