Is it possible to maually clear a fault code:-
C1142-(latteral acceleration sensor open circuit)
On a 2000 Mercedes-Benz S320 (52K miles)
and what has caused the fault?

C1142 ABS Lateral Acceleration Sensor Open/Shorted

Periodic abnormality is detected in the signal wave pattern from the ABS wheel-speed sensors.

This is an ABS code, when you repair the fault, the error code will clear.
