Mercedes: Mercedes for bio-diesel, veg oil, old mercedes

Hello.  Thanks for volunteering on this site.

I'm looking to buy a diesel that I will use to burn the converted vegetable oil.  I've been looking for an old Mercedes ~early 80's.  

Can you recommend a model and year?  

Are there any models and years that I should avoid?  Are the late 80's early 90's Mercedes Benz diesels just as good?

What specific modifications, if any, have to be made to a Mercedes to use the converted veg oil?

Any other recommendations?

You must change all of the rubber hoses to Viton material for bio-diesel.

The mass of data you are asking for is beyond your imagination.
